Chanel fined £ 161,000 for breach
Chanel has been appointed to the sum of its former suppliers of knitted, World Tricot, which they pay to copy their creations accused.
Chanel was sentenced, a supplier knitting old World Tricot, £ 161,000 (€ 200,000) to be paid by the Court of Appeal of Paris.
The decision is the latest twist in a running dispute between the two companies.

In 2009, the World Tricot Chanel tried to sue for £ 3.6 million: € 1.3 million for the wrongful termination of the business relationship, and £ 2.3 million for the alleged violation of a white crochet. Chanel has decided all charges and the Commercial Court in their favor ordering World Tricot Chanel pay £ 161,000 euros for "public denigration" denied.
However, the court ruled Friday to annul that decision and instead pay Chanel World Tricot ordered.
"This is the first time we have faced this kind of situation, but we work with about 400 suppliers. This case is very specific in any way reflect the quality of our relationships with our suppliers," Bruno Pavlovsky, president of Chanel told WWD .
Chanel said that they decide "soon" whether to appeal the decision before the French Court of Cassation.
